A museum in the north of Houston, Texas, USA, whose descriptive name sufficiently gives away what it is about: funeral culture through the years – and around the globe. For instance it also contains artefacts relating to the Day of the Dead in Mexico, as well as a dozen "fantasy coffins" from Ghana. Another star piece is the original eternal flame from JFK's grave in Arlington (where it was replaced in 1998 by a new one).

 
Opening times: Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday to 5 p.m., Sunday from 12 noon to 5 p.m.

 
Admission: adults 10 USD, seniors 9 USD, children under 12 years old: 7 USD.

 
Location: on the corner of Ella Boulevard and Barren Springs Drive in northern Houston,  Texas, USA.
